Part Listing A Starter Base B Lower Channel C Center Channel D Upper Channel E Top Cap Metal Inserts (2) Cut Pieces to desired length. Stain & finish as desired. Recommend pre-drilling for nailing to prevent splitting. 1.) Measure from Floor to desired height 2.) Locate and mark wall studs 3.) mark "level" line 4.) Install Starter Base "A" using 1 1/2" brads or 2" finishing nails. Nail through top nailing surface into stud locations. 5.) Insert Lower Channel "B" into top of Starter Base "A" 6.) Place Metal Insert into top of Center "B" 7.) Insert Center Channel "C" onto top of Metal Insert 8.) Place Metal Insert onto top of Center Channel "C". 9.) Place Upper Channel "D" onto top of Metal Insert. Nail through upper nailing surface into wall studs. 10.) Insert Top Cap "E" onto upper Channel "D". Nail into top using finishing nails. 11.) Finish ends with 3/4" Cove moulding (supplied). Attach using finishing nails. 12.) Drill holes through the center of Metal Inserts at the stud locations and attach using screws provided.
